FATİH-YEDİKULE PROJECT

The building affiliated with the Hagia Sophia Foundation, located on island 1265, parcel 18, in Istanbul province, Fatih district, Yedikule neighborhood, was built within the Yedikule Fortress. Reflecting the architecture of the Fatih period, Mosque-i Şerîf had a brick minaret with alternating structures, a wooden roof and a brick minaret. The building became derelict in the early 20th century. Of this structure, only the minaret up to the balcony and the ruined fountain have survived to the present day. The mosque is being restored by our company.
